Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce safety protocols
- Assist with patient positioning and draping
- Manage surgical equipment and inventory
- Document procedure details accurately
- Scrub in for emergency surgeries when needed
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year OR experience in Level 1 trauma center
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work high-pressure situations
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Flexibility to work nights/weekends
