Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms, equipment, and sterile fields according to surgical protocols
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, sutures, and supplies
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce infection control standards
- Inventory and restock surgical supplies while managing inventory systems remotely
- Collaborate with surgical teams via telehealth platforms for pre-op planning
- Document procedures accurately using our digital health records system
- Maintain equipment calibration and sterilization logs remotely
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- 2+ years of OR experience with specialty rotation experience
- Proficiency in sterile processing and HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Ability to work hybrid schedule (3 remote days/week)
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and procedures
- Excellent communication skills for remote team collaboration
- BLS/CPR certification
- Experience with robotic surgery systems preferred
