Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by sterilizing equipment, arranging instruments, and ensuring sterile environments
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments, holding retractors, and managing sterile fields
- Coordinate remote inventory management and supply chain logistics through our digital platform
- Document procedures and maintain electronic health records (EHR) systems remotely
- Participate in virtual case reviews and quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain equipment calibration and sterilization logs through our mobile app
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams via teleconferencing for complex cases
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification required
- Minimum 2 years of operating room experience
- Proficiency with EHR systems and telehealth platforms
- Strong understanding of sterile processing standards (AAMI/ANSI)
- Ability to work independently in remote settings while maintaining compliance
- Excellent communication skills for virtual team coordination
- Flexibility to work on-site during surgical procedures (80/20 split)
- BLS/CPR certification
