Responsibilities
- Provide direct personal care assistance with daily living activities, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
- Assist residents with mobility issues, including transferring and walking, using proper body mechanics.
- Prepare nutritious meals and assist with feeding if necessary.
- Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in resident condition to the nursing staff immediately.
- Offer companionship and emotional support to residents to enhance their well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping and laundry duties related to resident care.
- Administer medication as directed by licensed nursing personnel.
Qualifications
- Current California CNA (Certified Nursing Assistant) or PCA (Personal Care Assistant) certification is preferred.
- Valid California Driver's License and reliable transportation.
- Excellent physical stamina and ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Pass a background check and drug screening.
