Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile surgical fields and equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures using provided specialized instruments
- Manage inventory of surgical supplies and equipment
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and safety protocols
- Coordinate with nursing staff for seamless patient care
- Document procedural details accurately
- Train on new equipment technologies as provided
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent
- Minimum 1 year OR experience
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing
- Ability to operate provided surgical equipment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Current BLS certification
