Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields with provided advanced surgical equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and maintaining sterility
- Manage inventory and sterilization of provided surgical instruments and supplies
- Document perioperative procedures accurately in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with OSHA and JCAHO standards using provided safety equipment
- Collaborate with nursing staff to optimize surgical workflow efficiency
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of recent operating room experience
- Proficiency in handling provided advanced surgical equipment (robotics, endoscopes)
- BLS certification with current CPR training
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing and aseptic techniques
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure surgical environments
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
