As a Surgical Technician, you will be responsible for assisting surgeons during operations, ensuring sterile environments, and maintaining the highest standards of patient safety. Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and arrange medical equipment and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and sterile supplies.
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any abnormalities to the nursing staff.
- Maintain strict aseptic technique and sterilization protocols throughout the surgery.
- Transport patients to and from the operating room.
- Properly label and dispose of specimens and hazardous materials.
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Scrub Tech certification required.
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- 1-3 years of experience in a hospital or surgical setting preferred.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
