Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile equipment and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures (instrument passing, wound closure)
- Maintain sterile fields and infection control protocols
- Transport patients and specimens safely
- Inventory and sterilize surgical instruments
- Document perioperative procedures accurately
- Collaborate with surgical team for efficient workflows
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- No prior experience necessary (training provided)
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (will train)
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Pass background check and drug screening
