Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize surgical instruments and equipment according to protocol
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Maintain sterile field integrity throughout surgical cases
- Transport patients to/from operating rooms safely
- Document case activities and inventory accurately
- Collaborate with nursing and anesthesia teams seamlessly
- Adhere to OSHA and AORN safety standards
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- No prior surgical experience necessary
- Ability to stand for extended periods (6-8 hours)
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Basic computer literacy for documentation
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must complete our 12-week paid training program
- Valid CPR certification (provided during training)
