Responsibilities
- Prepare and maintain sterile fields using provided surgical equipment
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and supplies
- Operate sterilization equipment and ensure instrument readiness
- Manage inventory of provided surgical supplies and equipment
- Adhere to OSHA and safety protocols for provided equipment
- Document equipment usage and sterilization logs
- Collaborate with team to optimize equipment workflow
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
- 2+ years operating room experience
- Proficiency with provided surgical equipment (endoscopes, power tools)
- Knowledge of sterile processing procedures
- Ability to work efficiently with provided equipment in fast-paced settings
- BLS certification
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
