Responsibilities
- Prepare sterile fields and surgical equipment using provided advanced instrumentation
- Assist surgeons during procedures with instrument passing and sterile technique maintenance
- Operate and troubleshoot provided robotic systems and surgical technology
- Manage equipment sterilization and inventory using provided tracking systems
- Maintain sterile environments according to AORN standards
- Document procedures using provided electronic health record systems
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or equivalent certification
- Minimum 2 years recent OR experience with robotic systems
- Proficiency in sterile processing and equipment management
- Ability to operate provided surgical technology (robotics, endoscopy, etc.)
- BLS certification required
- Strong knowledge of surgical instrumentation and equipment
