Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms with sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Assist surgeons during procedures with proper instrument handling
- Maintain sterile fields and enforce aseptic techniques
- Operate advanced surgical technology (robotics, endoscopic systems)
- Inventory and manage all provided surgical equipment
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for optimal patient outcomes
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 2 years of scrub experience in general surgery
- Proficiency with provided advanced surgical equipment
- BLS certification with current CPR training
- Strong knowledge of sterile processing protocols
- Ability to work efficiently in high-pressure environments
