Key Responsibilities:

  • Preoperative Preparation: Set up operating rooms with all necessary instruments, supplies, equipment, and positioning devices to ensure a sterile field.
  • Assist Surgeons: Pass instruments and materials to surgeons and registered nurses, anticipating their needs during surgical procedures.
  • Equipment Management: Monitor and ensure the proper functioning and sterilization of all surgical equipment provided by the facility.
