Responsibilities
- Prepare Operating Rooms: Set up sterile field and equipment for surgical procedures.
- Assist Surgeons: Pass instruments and sterile supplies during operations.
- Maintain Sterility: Adhere strictly to aseptic techniques and safety protocols.
- Patient Care: Monitor patients' vital signs and respond to changes in condition.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and restock surgical supplies and instruments.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Scrub Tech certification.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of OR experience preferred.
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and lift heavy equipment.
