Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons before, during, and after surgical procedures in the Operating Room.
  • Prepare operating rooms by arranging sterile instruments, equipment, and supplies.
  • Maintain strict sterile field and aseptic technique throughout the surgery.
  • Count sponges, needles, and instruments before and after procedures to ensure patient safety.
  • Handle surgical specimens accurately and transport them to the lab for analysis.

Qualifications

  • Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or Scrub Tech certification required.
