Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and arrange medical equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing surgical instruments and other sterile supplies.
- Monitor the vital signs and general condition of patients during surgical procedures.
- Ensure the operating room environment remains sterile and organized at all times.
- Handle specimens and send them to the laboratory for analysis.
- Prepare, disinfect, and sterilize all instruments used in surgery.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; Medical Assistant or CNA certification is a plus.
- Willingness to participate in our comprehensive Paid Training Program.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict protocols.
- Ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work well under pressure.
- Basic computer literacy.
