Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms by arranging instruments, equipment, and supplies.
- Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and sutures.
- Monitor and maintain sterile environments to prevent infection.
- Count sponges, needles, and instruments to maintain accurate records.
- Transport patients to and from the operating suite.
- Prepare patients for surgery, including washing and disinfecting incision sites.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED is required.
- Willingness to undergo a paid training program and certification exam.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Physical stamina to stand for long periods and lift patients.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work under pressure.
- Excellent communication skills and teamwork abilities.
