Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and sterile fields for surgical procedures
- Pass instruments and supplies to surgeons during operations
- Maintain sterile environments and enforce aseptic techniques
- Assist in patient positioning and draping
- Handle surgical specimens and equipment sterilization
- Document surgical cases accurately and efficiently
- Collaborate with surgical team to optimize workflow
Qualifications
- Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) credential required
- Minimum 1 year OR experience preferred
- Knowledge of sterile processing standards
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments
- Strong attention to detail and precision
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- New Mexico Surgical Tech license
- BLS/CPR certification
