Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care including bathing, feeding, and mobility assistance
- Monitor vital signs and document patient status accurately
- Assist nurses with medical procedures and equipment preparation
- Maintain clean and organized patient environments
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams
- Support infection control protocols and safety standards
- Respond promptly to patient call lights and emergencies
Qualifications
- Active Nebraska CNA certification required
- Minimum 1 year hospital or acute care experience preferred
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and stand for extended periods
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail and documentation accuracy
- Pass background check and drug screening
