Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and standards.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments, administer medications, and monitor vital signs effectively.
- Collaborate closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and interdisciplinary healthcare teams.
- Document patient care plans, outcomes, and changes in condition accurately and in a timely manner.
- Educate patients and their families on treatment plans, medications, and health maintenance.
- Adapt quickly to dynamic healthcare environments and varying shift schedules, including nights and weekends.
- Assist in the development and implementation of individualized care strategies.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland or a Compact State.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience (Med-Surg, ICU, or Telemetry preferred).
- Strong communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy and empathy.
- Ability to work flexible hours and adapt to new clinical settings rapidly.
- Successful completion of a background check and drug screening.
- Willingness to travel and relocate for assignments.
