Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and specialized procedures with precision
- Document patient assessments and care outcomes using EMR systems
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and JCAHO standards
- Provide patient education and discharge planning for diverse populations
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer review processes
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Florida or compact state with ability to obtain FL license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in assigned specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant specialty certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EPIC, Cerner preferred)
- Strong critical thinking skills and ability to adapt to new environments
- Excellent communication skills and cultural competence
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
