Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in accordance with the nursing care plan and hospital policies
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in diverse clinical settings
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes
- Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring patient responses
- Maintain detailed and timely patient documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
- Adapt quickly to new hospital protocols and electronic health record systems
- Participate in emergency response and critical care interventions as needed
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in Georgia or compact state
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care experience in telemetry or ICU
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Graduate of an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong assessment skills and ability to work independently
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
