Responsibilities
- Patient Care: Deliver high-quality, compassionate nursing care to patients in accordance with state regulations and facility policies.
- Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments and monitor vital signs to ensure optimal health outcomes.
- Treatment Administration: Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely as prescribed by physicians.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient medical records and clinical documentation.
- Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and the broader healthcare team to develop patient care plans.
- Emergency Response: Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Texas.
- Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or medical setting preferred.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Adaptability: Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Travel Readiness: Willingness to travel and relocate for contract durations (typically 13 weeks).
