Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned specialty (ER, ICU, MedSurg, etc.)
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary care teams
- Accurately document patient assessments and interventions
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes
- Educate patients and families on care plans
- Adhere to hospital protocols and safety standards
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Illinois or compact state
- 1+ years of recent experience in specialty area
- BLS/CPR certification required
- ACLS/PALS preferred based on unit
- Ability to travel and adapt to new environments
- Strong clinical assessment skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
