Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional, patient-centered care in accordance with established clinical protocols and standards.
- Administer medications and treatments utilizing the advanced medical equipment provided by Apex Healthcare Solutions.
- Monitor patient vital signs and document accurate, timely clinical data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR).
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, surgeons, and the multidisciplinary care team to optimize patient recovery.
- Assist in emergency response situations and critical care interventions with precision and calm.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control policies and safety regulations within the healthcare facility.
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans and post-discharge care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current, active, and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience (ICU, Med-Surg, or Telemetry preferred).
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and PALS required (or equivalent as per facility policy).
- Strong computer proficiency and experience with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Demonstrated ability to adapt to fast-paced environments and travel between different facilities.
- Valid Driver's License and current auto insurance for local transport needs.
