Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical units with adaptability to varying shift schedules
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive patient care plans
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation per hospital protocols
- Implement evidence-based practices and ensure compliance with JCAHO standards
- Provide patient education and discharge coordination with cultural sensitivity
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency interventions as needed
- Adapt to different hospital systems and workflows across assignments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state with ability to obtain TN license
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience in relevant specialty
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS) based on unit
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to travel independently and maintain reliable transportation
