Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, high-quality patient care across various medical units, including Med-Surg, Telemetry, or ICU.
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, monitoring vital signs, and documenting accurate clinical notes in electronic health records (EHR).
- Administer prescribed medications and treatments in strict accordance with hospital protocols and physician orders.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Respond immediately to patient emergencies and coordinate timely interventions.
- Adhere to all facility safety policies, infection control standards, and regulatory compliance requirements.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license issued by the California Board of Nursing.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or acute care setting.
- Strong computer proficiency with experience in EMR/EHR systems (e.g., Epic, Cerner).
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and diverse patient populations.
