Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in acute care settings
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols
- Document patient progress accurately in electronic health records
- Assess patient needs and provide emergency interventions
- Maintain strict compliance with JCAHO and facility standards
- Precept and orient new nursing staff as assigned
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing (or compact state)
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Telemetry or ICU experience preferred
- Graduate of accredited nursing program
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Pass background and drug screening
