Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in various clinical settings including hospitals, clinics, and specialty units
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders while maintaining accurate documentation
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Monitor patient vital signs and respond promptly to changes in condition
- Educate patients and families on health conditions and discharge protocols
- Adhere to hospital policies, procedures, and infection control standards
- Complete all required paperwork and electronic health records accurately and timely
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Pennsylvania or compact state
- Minimum 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience
- BSN preferred (ADN accepted with relevant experience)
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Strong clinical skills and ability to adapt quickly to new environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work various shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays
