Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in emergency/trauma departments with 12-hour shifts
- Administer medications and treatments per physician protocols
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care
- Maintain accurate electronic health records (EHR) documentation
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific compliance standards
- Participate in rapid response codes and emergency situations
- Precept new staff and orient travelers to facility systems
Qualifications
- Active CA RN license (compact license acceptable)
- 2+ years acute care experience in ER/ICU
- BLS, ACLS, and TNCC certifications required
- BSN preferred or ADN with 5+ years experience
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
- Ability to adapt to new healthcare environments quickly
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
