Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including physical exams, medical history reviews, and symptom analysis.
- Develop and implement individualized nursing care plans in alignment with evidence-based practice and physician orders.
- Administer medications, treatments, and therapeutic procedures safely and accurately.
- Monitor vital signs and patient progress continuously; promptly document changes and escalate concerns to the clinical team.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families regarding diagnoses and treatment options.
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including physicians, therapists, and social workers.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license issued by the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care or hospital nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient advocacy.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and pre-employment drug screening.
