Responsibilities
- Deliver direct patient care in assigned clinical units with precision and compassion
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per protocols while monitoring patient responses
- Document clinical observations and interventions accurately in electronic health records
- Provide patient education and discharge planning to promote optimal recovery
- Adhere to all regulatory standards and facility-specific policies
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and safety protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in North Carolina or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS, ACLS, and relevant certifications (e.g., TNCC, PALS)
- Graduate of accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment skills
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts and adapt to new environments
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Travel nursing experience preferred
