Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA standards
- Assist dentists during procedures including chairside support and instrument transfer
- Take dental impressions and develop X-rays with precision
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record systems efficiently
- Provide post-procedure care instructions and patient education
- Maintain inventory of dental supplies and order materials as needed
- Ensure HIPAA compliance for all patient data handling
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient communication
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
