Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in various medical units, including ICU, Med-Surg, and Telemetry.
- Monitor patient vital signs, symptoms, and progress to ensure safe and effective recovery.
- Administer medications and treatments in strict accordance with physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, therapists, and other healthcare team members to develop comprehensive care plans.
- Educate patients and their families on health maintenance, disease prevention, and post-discharge care.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and unit-specific procedures, ensuring continuity of care.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN license in the state of Colorado (or compact state license).
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience (preferred for specialty units).
- Strong critical thinking, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Flexibility to travel to different facilities within the Denver metro area.
