Responsibilities
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments in accordance with physician orders.
- Monitor patient vital signs and progress, adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and the wider healthcare team.
- Document patient care accurately and in compliance with legal and regulatory standards.
- Educate patients and their families on disease prevention, medication management, and health maintenance.
- Ensure strict adherence to hospital protocols, safety regulations, and infection control measures.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in North Carolina (or compact state).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Ability to work independently and adapt to fast-paced, high-volume environments.
- Willingness to travel for short-term assignments within the Greensboro area.
