Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in accordance with hospital protocols and state regulations.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and charge nurses.
- Monitor patient vitals and document accurate medical records and progress notes.
- Collaborate effectively with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond promptly to emergent situations and provide critical care support.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and staffing requirements in various medical units.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Willingness to travel and relocate for 13-week assignments.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including nights and weekends.
