Responsibilities
- Deliver exceptional patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and MedSurg units
- Adapt quickly to new protocols and electronic health record systems
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to JCAHO standards
- Provide mentorship to local staff during transitional periods
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety programs
Qualifications
- Active RN license in good standing with Florida or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications required; PALS/NISS preferred based on unit
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong critical thinking and adaptability in dynamic environments
- Excellent communication skills with patients and healthcare teams
- Travel nursing experience highly desirable
