Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans based on medical standards.
- Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately in accordance with nursing protocols.
- Collaborate closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Maintain accurate, detailed, and timely documentation of patient medical records and progress.
- Provide clear, empathetic patient and family education regarding health conditions and treatment plans.
- Respond promptly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
Qualifications
- Current and active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Texas (or compact license).
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certifications required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical nursing experience.
- Flexibility to work rotating shifts, nights, and weekends as required.
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a high-pressure environment.
- Ability to adapt quickly to new environments and healthcare settings.
