Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care in accordance with hospital protocols and nursing standards.
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and monitor vital signs continuously.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed physicians.
- Document patient care plans, progress notes, and outcomes accurately and timely.
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Respond swiftly to medical emergencies and critical situations within the unit.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized clinical environment.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered RN License in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (ACLS preferred based on unit assignment).
- Proof of up-to-date immunizations (MMR, Hep B, Varicella, TB).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to adapt to different healthcare team dynamics and patient populations.
