Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care and comprehensive assessment in diverse healthcare settings.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately according to physician orders and hospital protocols.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient records, vital signs, and shifts.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurses, and interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adapt quickly to new environments and support unit staffing needs during peak times.
- Ensure strict compliance with all local, state, and federal healthcare regulations and standards.
Qualifications
- Active and unencumbered RN license in the state of Kentucky (or compact state eligibility).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (or willing to obtain).
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to travel and commit to 13-week contract durations.
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
