Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality, patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings.
- Assess patient needs, develop individualized care plans, and implement appropriate nursing interventions.
- Monitor patient health progress and communicate significant changes to physicians and the healthcare team.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation of patient care and medical records.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Adhere to all hospital policies, procedures, and regulatory standards (e.g., Joint Commission, OSHA).
- Assist in patient education and discharge planning.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of California.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a specialty area.
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (ACLS preferred for cardiac specialties).
- Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Physical stamina to handle the demands of the nursing profession, including lifting and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
