Responsibilities
- Assess patient health needs, develop, implement, and evaluate patient care plans.
- Administer medications and treatments according to established protocols.
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document patient medical histories, symptoms, and responses to treatment accurately.
- Provide patient education and emotional support to families.
- Monitor and report critical changes in patient condition to the charge nurse or physician.
Qualifications
- Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Nebraska or compact state.
- Minimum of 2 years of recent acute care nursing experience.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to various healthcare settings.
