Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in assigned units (MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU)
- Implement physician orders accurately and timely
- Document patient assessments and interventions using EMR systems
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary care teams
- Adhere to JCAHO and facility-specific protocols
- Participate in handoffs and shift reports
- Maintain patient confidentiality and HIPAA compliance
Qualifications
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Nursing (ADN/BSN)
- Active NY RN license (or eligible to obtain immediately)
- CPR/BLS certification (AHA preferred)
- Pass criminal background/drug screening
- Ability to start within 30 days of application
