Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions by performing physical exams and reviewing medical histories.
- Develop and implement comprehensive patient care plans based on physician orders and nursing standards.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by licensed healthcare providers.
- Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and social workers to coordinate optimal patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and families on disease prevention, self-care, and medication management.
- Maintain accurate, timely, and thorough documentation in electronic health records (EHR).
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered RN license in North Carolina or a compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital setting.
- BLS (Basic Life Support) and ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification required.
- Valid DEA registration and ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screen.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
