Responsibilities
- Deliver patient-centered care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to implement evidence-based treatment plans
- Maintain accurate documentation and adhere to HIPAA/JCAHO compliance standards
- Provide clinical mentorship to nursing staff and orient new team members
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and process optimization
- Respond effectively to emergency situations with critical thinking skills
- Ensure patient safety through rigorous infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in New Jersey or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of acute care experience in specialty area
- BLS/ACLS certifications (PALS required for pediatric roles)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Strong communication skills and cultural competency
- Experience with EMR systems (Epic preferred)
- Negative TB test and current immunization records
- Ability to pass background check and drug screening
