Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications, treatments, and interventions per physician orders
- Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in electronic health records
- Ensure compliance with JCAHO standards and hospital protocols
- Adapt quickly to new environments and maintain patient safety standards
- Participate in shift handoffs and team huddles for continuity of care
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Kentucky or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required
- BSN preferred; associate degree considered with relevant experience
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including nights and weekends
- Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, changing environments
- Travel nursing experience preferred but not required
