Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality patient care in diverse clinical settings including ICU, ER, and Med-Surg units
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Accurately document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes in EMR systems
- Adhere to hospital protocols and maintain strict compliance with JCAHO standards
- Provide patient and family education on treatment plans and health maintenance
- Participate in rapid response teams and emergency care situations
- Maintain sterile techniques and infection control protocols
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Massachusetts or compact state
- Minimum 2 years of recent acute care experience
- BLS and ACLS certifications required (specialty-specific certs preferred)
- Graduation from accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN)
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts in high-volume environments
- Strong critical thinking and assessment skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to new clinical settings
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
