Responsibilities
- Deliver high-quality, patient-centered care in accordance with facility protocols and nursing standards.
- Monitor patient vital signs and medical conditions, promptly reporting any changes to the healthcare team.
- Document patient care plans, procedures, and recovery progress accurately and timely.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians and licensed providers.
- Collaborate effectively with physicians, nurse practitioners, and other multidisciplinary team members.
- Educate patients and families on disease management, discharge instructions, and preventative care.
- Maintain a safe and clean environment while adhering to all infection control policies.
Qualifications
- Current, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Kentucky or a compact state.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of recent clinical experience in a hospital or clinical setting.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certifications.
- Specialty certifications (CEN, CCRN, or MSNCB) are preferred but not always required.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel and adapt to different healthcare facility cultures.
