Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in acute care settings including ER, ICU, and med-surg units
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders with precision
- Monitor patient vitals and document electronic health records accurately
- Participate in rapid response and emergency care protocols
- Adhere to infection control and safety standards in all clinical activities
- Complete required training modules and competency assessments
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Alaska or compact state
- Minimum 1 year recent acute care experience
- BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
- Ability to adapt quickly to new healthcare environments
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Willingness to complete paid orientation program
- Flexibility to work 12-hour shifts including weekends
- Positive attitude and passion for travel nursing
