Responsibilities
- Assess and prioritize patient calls based on medical urgency using established protocols
- Provide clear, compassionate guidance to patients over phone and in-person triage
- Collaborate with physicians and care teams to coordinate patient care pathways
- Maintain accurate electronic health records and documentation
- Educate patients on appropriate care settings and resources
- Monitor patient flow and adjust triage protocols as needed
- Participate in continuous quality improvement initiatives
Qualifications
- Current Tennessee RN license (or ability to obtain immediately)
- Recent nursing graduates and career changers welcome
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (training provided)
- Exceptional communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to remain calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
